Accessibility
Making our content accessible to everyone
Easy Access News is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all people, regardless of ability. We are continuously working to improve the user experience and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
- Descriptive alt text for all images
- ARIA labels where appropriate
- Keyboard-navigable interface
- Skip-to-content link at the top of every page
- Sufficient colour contrast in both dark and light modes
- Support for reduced motion preferences
- Responsive design that works with screen magnifiers
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This is an ongoing process and we review our site regularly to identify and address accessibility issues.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some older content may not fully meet our current standards. We are working to remediate legacy content over time.
